Rudy Jon Faber is a self-taught artist hailing from Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. He is a freelance illustrator whose work has been featured in Göoo magazine and sexinart.net. Rudy also customizes collectibles and does custom art for skateboard decks using acrylic paints.

Mr. Faber’s work incorporates art nouveau and pin up elements. Mixed in with an edgy pop art style, his pieces are always vibrant. He is inspired by vintage, burlesque, and baroque themes that appear often in his work. His subjects (usually drop dead gorgeous women) also emit great personality.

The Amazing Tattooed Lady is a wonderful example. The use of art nouveau frames the subject beautifully. The faded color scheme for the frame and background create a vintage feeling.  And the Tattooed Lady is quite exotic and pleasing to the eye.
