The Art of Abigail Larson
Abigail Larson loves all things gothic and spooky. Literary influences such as Edgar Allan Poe and Lewis Carroll are the inspirations behind many of her works. Abigail’s art instills a viewer with a sense of dreariness and longing that fits the theme she’s chosen. Her early work consisted of ink drawings and watercolor paintings, but she now specializes in digital art.
Abigail Larson has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her concentration was in drawing and illustration. Abigail’s work has been featured in several magazines such as Ink Magazine. Her creations have also been displayed in prominent galleries such as the Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, California and The Poe Museum in Richmond, Virginia.
Abigail’s greatest artistic influences have been Arthur Rackham, John William Waterhouse, and Edward Gorey. She keeps busy creating art for private clients, illustrating books, and maintaining her fascination with those things that go bump in the night.
I highly recommend viewing her gallery on Deviant Art.
